Google Glasses Boggle My Mind

Seriously, though.

These glasses are going to change the world.

I first read about them back in February in a NYTimes article and I was baffled by the thought of it. When I read they were suppose to come out by the end of this year my thought was HAH! Yeah, okay.

But low and behold…

I just opened my browser this afternoon, which opened to my favorite news website (and homepage) Newser and THIS article was staring at me! I couldn’t believe it! There those puppies were.

Back to what I was saying, though. These glasses are going to change the world.

Imagine walking into a store and not needing to find a service clerk to tell us where to find what we are looking for?

Imagine being lost and not needing a map, or the knowledge of how to read one, to find the right direction?

Imagine your morning news, notifications, appointments & reminders being the first thing you see every day.

Imagine all your information not at your finger tips, but right in front of your eyes.

Imagine this being linked with your social networks, and other social networks, to tell you about a person before you even met them, just by looking at them!

And what about human interaction? It’s practically not needed with this fancy eyewear!

It seems crazy, right? But it’s not. It’s the world we’re living in right now and these are real challenges, problems & realities we have to deal with.

People think that they don’t need to worry about what they put on the internet thinking it is private, no one will see it. I bet none of those people thought about these glasses and the power they hold.

What do you think the best/worst thing about these glasses could be?

I want to hear what you have to say!
