Just a few short years ago these two teen burn-outs starlits were on a massive downward spiral.

Miley pole dancing at the Teen Choice Awards? Lindsay’s countless arrests? Not to mention some pretty serious fashion DON’TS.

But these two images surfaced this week of the two stars now…

(Okay so maybe I’m not being completely fair to Lindsay, but these both were “big” stories on E! this week.)

Google Glasses Boggle My Mind

Seriously, though.

These glasses are going to change the world.

 

I first read about them back in February in a NYTimes article and I was baffled by the thought of it. When I read they were suppose to come out by the end of this year my thought was HAH! Yeah, okay.

But low and behold…

I just opened my browser this afternoon, which opened to my favorite news website (and homepage) Newser and THIS article was staring at me! I couldn’t believe it! There those puppies were.

RIP: Privacy

  Privcacy is a thing of the past, and this is something we’re all just going to have to live with.

In our world of technology — Facebook, Twitter, FourSquare, Google, and so much more — it is almost foolish to think that there is still a way to be private.

I know, you’re sitting there thinking, “But I can make my account private so only people I want to see can see it.” Right? WRONG.

Just because your account is private doesn’t mean that it necessarily always is.  What if someone who you trust sees something you post and re-posts it? What if someone else posts something about you elsewhere without tagging you in it or letting you know it’s there? These are just a couple of scenarios of many that can infringe upon what you believe to be your private information.

The true question is, though, why are you putting information online that you do not want to be available to the public?
